Welcome to AvayeBoom Bird Conservation Society!

We are working together to conserve birds and their habitats, and to increase awareness about them in Iran

AvayeBoom Bird Conservation Society is the leading NGO dedicated to the conservation of birds and their habitats in Iran. With a team of over 310 dedicated volunteers, we have successfully implemented more than 13 diverse projects across various regions of the country since our establishment 8 years ago. As the sole organization focused on bird conservation in Iran, we take pride in our achievements, including the establishment of the first urban birdwatching center in the country, managing winter bird census in multiple regions, resolving conflicts between beekeepers and bee-eaters in 3 regions, selecting flagship species in Arjan International Wetland, and implementing measures to prevent bustards collisions with power lines.

At AvayeBoom Bird Conservation Society, our commitment extends beyond project implementation. We operate a bird rehabilitation center that has cared for hundreds of injured birds, demonstrating our dedication to the well-being of avian species. Additionally, our education section offers workshops on birdwatching and related topics, reaching out to more than 4000 individuals to raise awareness about bird conservation and environmental stewardship. Join us in our mission to protect and preserve the rich diversity of bird species in Iran, and together, let’s make a difference for our feathered friends and their habitats.
