AvayeBoom Bird Conservation Society is dedicated to the conservation of birds and their habitats in Iran and With a dedicated team of over 280 volunteers, we are able to implement a wide range of projects and initiatives. Over the past 8 years, we have successfully completed more than 11 projects in different regions of Iran. Some of our notable projects include establishing the first urban birdwatching center in Iran, managing winter bird census in multiple countries, and resolving conflicts between beekeepers and bee-eaters.
As the only NGO in Iran focused on bird conservation, we play a crucial role in protecting the avian species in our region. Our initiatives have had a tangible impact on bird populations, including preventing bird collisions through power line safety measures and rehabilitating hundreds of injured birds at our bird rehabilitation center. Our education section has provided workshops on birdwatching and related topics to over 2500 individuals, helping to raise awareness about the importance of bird conservation.
